Marymount was looking to create a more unique foreign language program in their school that incorporated native speakers and cultural immersion.
We brought an inflatable Portal to Marymount School and connected it to Portals in Spanish, French and Arabic speaking countries. Students were able to have educational experiences with native speakers around the globe, having two way interactions to both learn about these new cultures and share things about themselves.
Over the course of a semester with Marymount, we provided foreign language sessions in 3 languages and created an immersive environment that mimicked real world interactions that students might have if traveling abroad in these regions. In addition to building language skills, they gained a knowledge of the cultures and regions that spoke these languages.
