Finance and Administration Coordinator

Shared_Studios is looking to hire a part-time finance & administrative manager to start immediately. This hire reports to the COO and would prepare weekly financial reports, monitor accounts payable and receivable, liaise with accountants, schedule meetings and conference calls, and coordinate company payroll. This individual must be based in either NYC or Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate company payroll

  • Track accounts payable and receivable, including contact with clients

  • Coordinate company-wide schedules, including the scheduling of team and individual calls

  • Monitor financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and preparing a weekly finance report for CEO/COO

  • Issue vendor payments and process bi-monthly payroll 

  • Recording of meeting minutes and assigning follow-up tasks

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and oriented towards problem-solving

  • 1-2 years administrative or bookkeeping experience

  • Familiarity with Quickbooks

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Team-player 

  • Discovers and engages problems before they arise
