Created an interactive week-long virtual festival with 12 dynamic poets, rappers, and writers from Nigeria, Rwanda, Iraq, Gaza.
A powerful and interactive week-long virtual Global Poetry Festival that explored the cultural context of poetry, collective healing, and creative discourse. Two young activist poets from Kigali, Rwanda shared their work, creating a space for vulnerability and connection. One student said, “She really does an amazing job conveying a rush of feeling, we have not experienced any of her experiences, yet we can sympathize with her.” Another said, “That was both powerful and subtle, it feels so vivid.”
