An interactive way to spark inspiration, imagination, and passion for science in kids
Connect families at the Intrepid Museum in NYC to NASA researchers and astronauts in LA, SF, and at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
World-renowned scientists sparked imagination and a passion for science in this generation of future space explorers. The dialogues were streamed to live audiences. Astronauts & rocket scientists inside of the Orion module space craft at Johnson Space Center and at the Jet Propulsion Lab shared a presentation about exoplanets and a little kid came in and knew all about it, finishing the presentation for him.
NASA, in partnership with the Intrepid Museum, was looking for an interactive way to spark inspiration and imagination around the sciences for young people.
We brought a Portal to the Intrepid Museum in NYC and connected it directly to NASA researchers in LA, SF as well as NASA astronauts at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Youths that visited the museum were able to step into the Portal to interact with NASA, ask questions and learn about how they found their way into these exciting careers.
Not only were there live Portal interactions but we streamed the conversations to live audiences as well. Kids were able to get an inside look at the Orion module spacecraft and researchers at Jet Propulsion Labs shared stories about exoplanets. By bringing world-renowned scientists together through a brand that captures the imagination like NASA we were able to spark a passion for a generation of future space explorers.
