Our Portal is in the Harsham Camp for IDPs and refugees on the northern edge of Erbil. The Portal was made possible by UNICEF Iraq and Terre de Hommes. Harsham hosts more than 1,500 internally displaced Iraqi families who fled Mosul and its surrounding villages to escape Islamist militant attacks. Harsham is located in Iraqi Kurdistan which is home to 250,000 Syrian refugees. Our Portal in the camp is based in a converted gas station. Through it, a young entrepreneur in Erbil spoke with President Barack Obama and another with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.
Mercy Corps and Gaza Sky Geeks host the Portal in Gaza City. Gaza Sky Geeks was founded in 2011 to build Gaza’s startup movement. They run a vibrant co-working space. In 2013, the Gaza Sky Geeks accelerator began connecting top teams to global resources to transform Gaza’s most talented youth into the Middle East’s business leaders. Investors from around the world invested in the startups and partnered with Gaza Sky Geeks to provide them with expertise, mentorship, and networks

The Portal is located on the regional campus of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) in San Pedro Sula, the industrial capital of Honduras. UNAH is the leading institution of higher education in the country and maintains a strong commitment with honduran academy, research, science, culture and development.
The Portal is run by the Organization for Youth Empowerment (OYE), a youth development NGO located in the nearby city of El Progreso. OYE is dedicated to educate, empower and engage disadvantaged youth to break the cycle of poverty and become agents of change in their homes, schools and communities.
Our Portal in Mexico City has moved around town, garnered major national press, and hosted celebrities including Telenovela stars. We are now in Platoon Mexico, a global creative collective based in Berlin, Mexico City and Seoul with more than 7,500 members. The Mexico Portal is run in partnership with Time Out Mexico, the largest arts, culture and entertainment guide in Mexico. Since 2015, the Portal has moved to numerous sites including Plaza Villa Madrid, one of the most iconic neighborhoods in Mexico City, and Arte Alameda, a space dedicated to the exhibition, documentation, production, and research of artistic practices that relate to technology.

The Parks Conservancy’s signature project, Crissy Field was transformed starting in 2001 from a former military airfield into a vibrant environmental showcase through the generosity of the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund and Colleen and Robert Haas, as well as thousands of community volunteers and donors. Today, the restored Crissy Field is a stunning place to walk or bike on a flat, hard-packed promenade with iconic views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. A beautiful, and much-loved trail winds through Crissy Field between Marina Green and Fort Point.

Colorado Springs is home to the United States Olympic Committee, the Olympic Training Center, and a famous 14,114 foot mountain - Pikes Peak - known as America’s Mountain. The Colorado Springs Portal is on the grounds of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, which portrays the history and culture of the Pikes Peak Region in exhibits emphasizing the unique character of this uncommon Front Range community.
Our Portal in Mission, Texas is our first Portal along the US-Mexico border. It is located in Mission EDC, a component of the City of Mission, Texas, that is tasked with creating jobs, attracting capital investment, improving the quality of life and strengthening the workforce in Mission, Texas. Mission EDC accomplishes its task by focusing in five areas: Entrepreneurship and STEAM Education, Business Expansion and Retention, Recruitment, Infrastructure and Transportation and Quality of Life. In addition to the 1 million inhabitants on the American side of the Rio Grande River, Mission, Texas is just minutes north of the 2 million residents of Reynosa and Matamoros, popular manufacturing centers in Northern Mexico.

Our Portal in Los Angeles is located at LA Law Library. LA Law Library is a vibrant community education center in Los Angeles County and a leader in providing public access to legal knowledge, putting national and international sources of law into the hands of those seeking legal information.
Our Portal in Chicago is located beside the South Chicago Christian Center, a faith-based non-profit charitable organization anchored by a thrift shop that was started to empower the community. This Portal is in a part of Chicago with among the highest homicide rates in the United States.
Our Portal in Brooklyn is located in the Navy Yard at the New Lab. The New Lab is an interdisciplinary space designed to support entrepreneurs working in emerging technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and connected devices.
Our Portal is located in Amani Park in the 53206 zip code, which has the highest black male incarceration rate of any zip code in America. The Portal is run in partnership with COA Youth & Family Center, a community development organization, the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative, and numerous other local partners working on issues ranging from police-community relations to job trainings. The main theme of EXPO 2017 is “Energy of the Future”. It reflects the preoccupation of the international community with the problem of energy consumption, which is having an increasing impact on our planet. The main objective of the exhibition is to call for responsibility, to foster a discussion and to develop knowledge enabling people to plan and control energy consumption on our planet and to minimize damage to the environment.
The American Center Student Council (ACSC) is an organization that helps students gain access to global educational materials. By partnering with them, along with Turning Tables, a youth empowerment group, and a group called Fringe Diplomacy, based at the Aspen Institute in Washington DC, we are able to draw upon a wide base of support in Yangon.

The Herat Portal is located on the campus of Hariwa University, in the center of town, and run by the Afghan Development and Inspiration Bureau (ADIB). ADIB is dedicated to empowering young Afghan men and women through the promotion of entrepreneurship. Their objectives are to encourage job creation through entrepreneurship, enhance social protection and strengthen the role of men and women in families and societies. By partnering with a local university, in collaboration with a community empowerment organization, we are able to reach deeply into Herat, across divisions of tribe or language. We have generated lots of local press in Herat.
The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) was founded in 1984 as a graduate school of theology, formerly known as the Catholic Higher Institute of Eastern Africa (CHIEA). Today, the university is open to a wide range of studies from Science to Law, all contributing to it's stated mission: "To promote excellence in research, teaching and community service by preparing morally upright leaders based on the intellectual tradition of the Catholic Church."
Our Portal in Rwanda is located at Impact Hub in downtown Kigali and run by Kurema, Kureba, Kwiga (“To Create, To See, To Learn”), a public arts social enterprise using street-arts and art-actions to involve civil society in positive social change.
In particular, the organization creates large-scale public artworks, many of which seek to reduce the stigma against HIV-positive individuals. Impact Hub Kigali, which also hosts the Portal, is a co-working space nurturing grassroots ventures aiming to have a sustainable impact on their communities.

The Migration Hub Network creates spaces, where social entrepreneurs and organizations meet to design solutions around mass migration. Our network generates physical impact within communities and connects organizations across Europe. This fosters collaboration between actors in the public and private sector in order to transform the challenges surrounding mass migration into opportunities.
